A Place To Serve
"There's no other place I want to be on a Sunday."
Jesus calls us to love God and love our neighbors. Here at MLEPC, we provide plenty of ways for you to put that love into action by serving both inside and outside our church walls. Find your place to make a difference today.
CONNECTIONS MINISTRY
Connections offers opportunities for individuals, small groups, and families to partner with organizations that are doing good work in our community. It allows us to deepen our relationships with one another working hand in hand, sharing the love of Christ with our neighbors.
You will have the chance to help us partner with local non-profits with a mission to help others.
FOOD PANTRY
A community food pantry provides essential groceries to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Serving here allows us to share Christ’s love in a practical way by helping meet one of our neighbors’ most basic needs. We also offer a food drop off area in our church lobby, anyone wanting to donate should first sign in with our receptionist before heading to the drop off zone.
PRAYER TEAM
We believe in the power of prayer, and we have many members committed to lifting up the concerns of those who share their prayer requests with us.
KENYA MISSIONS TEAM
The purpose for the Mission is to share the gospel through action oriented ministry. We plan to show people that “anything is possible with God” by helping the pastors on the ground help the people to improve their lives. We also plan to connect people with sustainable programs to address key issues facing their community.
DEACON MINISTRY
Deacons offers a ministry of compassion, care, and service to share the love of Jesus Christ. As elected leaders, they serve a three year term in various programs that reach our members, visitors, and the community.
Cemetery Clean-up Team

Tuesday Men's Work Group
We offer a weekly Tuesday Men's work group that assists in helping various projects around the church. The group has a Bible study before getting to work.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers are commissioned lay persons who have been trained and are supervised to share Christ's healing love in a one-on-one confidential relationship with those facing a crisis or experiencing difficult times.
